Through the contacts I have made in the MIE program, my students have learned that they can inspire students in other countries to code and create games. They have talked and shared ideas with students 10,000 miles away via Skype. Skype sessions makes learning borderless.
Thanx to the global connections : Interactions with other MIEEXPERTs around the world, knowing about their country, cultures, education system and the eagerness to share how they are enhancing student learning in their classrooms promotes innovation in teaching. My students love to meet their students through Skype.
The MIEExpert program is one way to break down cultural barriers that may exist between people groups. It's important for teachers to share learning experiences with students from a variety of different backgrounds.

MS Paint has been widely used by junior students which taught them to sketch, paint. The most common sketch i have seen my students drew has been a small hut, favorite cartoon, sky at night, chessboard game and the list is endless.
Well i have been using MS PAINT since 1992 when i was doing my graduation and i used it for editing "print screen" images and making wallpapers. I guess most of us have a lot of memories and nostalgia attached to the easiest tool MS Paint. Now Microsoft revealed that it may kill MS Paint soon. After Microsoft announced it's decision to remove the 32-year old 'MS Paint' with its upcoming Windows 10 Fall Creators update, people started to post disappointing remarks on all across social media followed by #RIPMSPaint.
When i shared this news with my students they also drew graveyards and other drawings to express that they would miss MS Paint. I am sharing that video here with you all
But with so much of disappointing remarks by people world over ; Microsoft has announced that it will be made available to users via the Microsoft Paint 3D app which is already available on the Windows store for download. As Microsoft has now decided to remove the MS Paint partially. Which means that MS Paint will not be available with Windows, instead users will have to download it separately.
It is in end of July 2017 that Microsoft revealed its plan to bring the Windows 10 Fall Creators update soon and will remove MS Paint.
Microsoft now notes, "MS Paint fans rejoice: The original art app isn't going anywhere - except to the Windows Store for free!" This means that MS Paint is not going anywhere. No, Microsoft has not decided to bring back the MS Paint onboard, instead plans to add all the key features of the Paint to its Paint 3D app.
Now with Paint 3D the users will be able to capture images and transform them into 3D objects. Not only that, it also let users to turn a 2D doodle into a 3D image. The Paint 3D app further comes with 2D pens and pencils which has the ability to work on any 3D object. There are also some stickers that can be stamped onto 2D images to make it 3D.
One can try making some doodles-Paint 3D makes it easy to unleash your creativity and bring your ideas to life. Classic Paint has been reimagined, with an updated look and feel and a large variety of new brushes and tools.
Very soon my students will be exploring Paint 3D and will be able to enhance their creative skills.
